Sometimes prevention starts with hope. đź’›

This weekend, we had the opportunity to attend the No More Orphans Experience—an evening that reminded us that every child deserves to be seen, valued, protected, and loved.

At Taking Back the Girls, we know that vulnerability can create opportunities for exploitation. That's why building safe, connected communities matters. When we come together to care for children and families, we help create environments where young people can thrive instead of simply survive.

Thank you to everyone who made this powerful experience possible and to those who continue showing up for children every single day. Together, we can build a future where every child knows their worth and their voice.

đź’™ Prevention starts with connection.
🌱 Prevention starts with community.
🛡️ Prevention starts with us.

Thank you, Sunshine Health! đź’›

Because of your generous sponsorship of 1,000 copies of Reagan's Safety List, more children and families in our community will have access to important safety conversations and prevention tools.

We are grateful for partners who invest in education, empowerment, and keeping kids safe. Together, we're helping families build confidence, awareness, and stronger protective factors—one child at a time.

When our programs collide, beautiful things happen. 💜✨
Today, Tree of Life + Taking Back the Girls came together to celebrate our incredible teen moms at Dorothy M Wallace Cope South with makeup and senior pictures. Because every young mom deserves to feel confident, celebrated, and seen as she steps into her next chapter.

These seniors are graduating while raising babies, overcoming obstacles, and building brighter futures — and we couldn’t be prouder to support them together. 🎓

Two programs. One mission. Stronger families. Empowered young moms.

Huge thank you to for hosting us a 3rd year in a row for this special moment!

Thank you to Commissioner for hosting the Child Trafficking Awareness Forum for a second year!

Thank you for making March Child Trafficking Awareness Month in your district đź’™ and shedding light on how this truly can happen anywhere. And does happen in South Florida. Thank you for helping spread awareness.

Big thank you to the dream team!

We cannot do this alone. Collaboration is key! Join in on the conversations, get involved, volunteer, reach out to any of us, we are here to help.

Behind every strong woman is a reason she chose courage over comfort. đź’ś

This little girl is the founder’s daughter, our little CEO, the one who inspired her to dedicate her life to serving the community instead of choosing a typical 9–5 office career.

Because of that decision, more than 10,000 families, women, and youth across South Florida have received support, resources, and hope.

Today we celebrate the girls who inspire us, the women who lead, and the futures we are building together.

Happy International Women’s Day. ✨

đź’™Yesterday was amazing! Thank you for welcoming us to your Human Trafficking Awareness event in Miami Gardens.

Our founder presented alongside retired Homeland Security Investiagtions Special Agent Katina Hernandez from 🫶

🎤 Presentation was hosted for youth and parents separately and together giving each group the opportunity to intake the information in their own ways. This is the BEST way!! Similar to our Youth Project Events. We have found it allows each group to ask questions without judgements as they are among their peers.

🙏Thank you to all the youth, parents, and community leaders thats joined in on this event.

Grateful for the collaboration ✨️

✨ Celebrating empowerment at every level ✨
As we pour into our girls and families this season, we also congratulate the new City of Miami Mayor-Elect Eileen Higgins and continue to stand proudly with Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava, two women showing our girls what leadership looks like. 💛🌟
