Last night was truly special. We extend our heartfelt thanks to for honoring the legacy of Mario Ernesto Sánchez at their gala.
Mario Ernesto Sánchez, a founding board member of the Arsht Center, leaves behind an enduring legacy in our cultural community. Verónica Sánchez, his daughter and President of Teatro Avante, had the honor of receiving this beautiful recognition on his behalf — a moment filled with pride, gratitude, and remembrance.
We are deeply grateful to the Arsht Center for continuing this meaningful partnership and for welcoming us once again to the Carnival Theatre for the 40th International Hispanic Theatre Festival this September. The Festival has been presented at the Arsht Center since its opening 20 years ago, a testament to a lasting and meaningful collaboration.
