FIRST SERVE MIAMI, formerly known as The Greater Miami Tennis and Education Foundation originated in 1974 to introduce tennis to young children who otherwise would not have the opportunity to learn the sport. FSM operates two programs to help our kids succeed in life through the accomplishment of individual growth and development goals:

• The “Adopt-A-Player” Program is designed to enhance partic

ipants’ tennis skills and USTA ranking through tournament play. The program also holds our kids accountable for academic excellence through homework, tutoring, SAT preparation, college awareness and good citizenship by participating in the USTA’s Life Skills and Student Athletic Competition and other related programs.

• The “10 and Under” Program is used to introduce and expose young kids to the game of tennis.

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community, we raised $7,125 to provide 50 of our summer campers with backpacks and school supplies for the upcoming school year.

Family Day was filled with smiles, laughter, and the excitement of a new beginning. Seeing our campers leave with everything they need to start the school year prepared is exactly what this community is all about.

The new school year is just around the corner, and First Serve Miami is kicking off our Annual Back-to-School Bookbag Drive! Our goal is to ensure every child in our programs starts the school year with the supplies they need to learn, grow, and succeed.

You can make a difference in two easy ways:
🎒 Shop our Amazon Wish List and send school supplies directly to us.
💙 Make a financial donation, and we’ll purchase backpacks and supplies for students in need.

Hosted during our Summer Camp, this special day will bring our young people together for tennis, games, community building, and opportunities to learn and grow both on and off the court.

Today marked the first day of First Serve Miami Summer Camp, and we are excited to share that we are at FULL CAPACITY! 🙌

Our campers spent the day getting to know one another, meeting our incredible staff, learning camp expectations, and discovering all the exciting activities, tennis instruction, and experiences that await them this summer. From the courts to the classroom, we are ready for a season filled with learning, growth, friendship, and fun.

Thank you to all the families who entrusted us with their children this summer. We can’t wait to make memories, build confidence, develop skills, and create an unforgettable summer together.
