They are also challenged to achieve academic success.

FIRST SERVE MIAMI, formerly known as The Greater Miami Tennis and Education Foundation originated in 1974 to introduce tennis to young children who otherwise would not have the opportunity to learn the sport. FSM operates two programs to help our kids succeed in life through the accomplishment of individual growth and development goals:

• The “Adopt-A-Player” Program is designed to enhance participants’ tennis skills and USTA ranking through tournament play. The program also holds our kids accountable for academic excellence through homework, tutoring, SAT preparation, college awareness and good citizenship by participating in the USTA’s Life Skills and Student Athletic Competition and other related programs.

• The “10 and Under” Program is used to introduce and expose young kids to the game of tennis.

🎾✨ A Day to Remember! ✨🎾

Yesterday, our First Serve Miami Adopt-A-Players had an incredible opportunity to be a part of the Miami Championships as ball boys and ball girls! 🙌🎾

Through this amazing partnership with The Miami Championships, our young athletes were able to get up close and personal with the players competing in the championship, while gaining an unforgettable experience on the court. Even more importantly, this opportunity allowed us to showcase First Serve Miami and our mission to the tennis community. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to Royal Palm Tennis Club Royal Palm Tennis Club, one of our amazing partners, for welcoming us and giving our youth the opportunity to be part of such a special event. Your continued support helps us expose our young athletes to new experiences, new opportunities, and the possibilities that exist beyond the court. 🎾🌟

A special thank you to our Board Member Eric Hechtman Eric Hechtman for helping make this opportunity possible at Royal Palm Tennis Club. We truly appreciate your continued support of our mission and our youth! 👏

This is what it’s all about — creating opportunities, building confidence, and helping our youth see what’s possible. 💙🎾

Thank you, all, for helping us ! 🎾💫

🎾✨ From the courts of Miami to the International Tennis Hall of Fame!

Our Adopt A Player, Mila, was rewarded with an unforgettable 2026 Be Legendary Experience! 🌟

Mila had the incredible opportunity to experience a week celebrating two tennis legends: Roger Federer, inducted in the Player Category, and Mary Carillo, inducted in the Contributor Category. 🏆🎾

From The Tennis Wave presented by 11th Hour Racing and Courting Fashion presented by Chubb to the Fame Fest & Food Truck Festival and the Red Carpet Pre-Show, Ceremony Watch Party & Induction Ceremony, Mila got to experience the magic of tennis history firsthand.

This was more than a week of incredible events—it was an opportunity for Mila meet, connect, and be inspired by the legends of our sport and see just how far her own dedication and passion for tennis can take her. 💙

We are so proud of Mila and grateful for this incredible experience! 🌟

Thank you to International Tennis Hall of Fame for giving Mila the opportunity of a lifetime! 🎾✨

🎒💙 100 BOOKBAGS. 100 YOUNG MINDS. SO MANY POSSIBILITIES. 💙🎒

We’re so excited to share that we’ve officially completed our Back-to-School Bookbag Drive, providing 100 bookbags to youth in underserved communities! 🥳📚

Our latest distribution took place at Bryan Park, where we gave out another 50 bookbags to our participants. We also had the opportunity to give our Adopt-A-Players special notes of encouragement as they head into a new school year. 💌🎾

But we didn’t stop at bookbags! 📖✨ Building on our Return the Serve event at Moore Park, our youth participated in additional literacy lessons focused on money, saving, needs vs. wants, and making smart financial choices. 💰🧠

Because of YOUR donations and support, 100 young people will head into the school year with new supplies, encouragement, and lessons that go beyond the classroom.

Thank you for helping us serve our community, invest in our youth, and give them the tools to succeed. 💙🎒🎾

What an incredible day! 💙🎒

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community, we raised $7,125 to provide 50 of our summer campers with backpacks and school supplies for the upcoming school year.

Family Day was filled with smiles, laughter, and the excitement of a new beginning. Seeing our campers leave with everything they need to start the school year prepared is exactly what this community is all about.

To every donor, volunteer, supporter, and family—thank you for making this possible. Your kindness is helping our campers walk into the classroom with confidence.

Here’s to a successful school year! 📚✨

Some of our favorite moments from an unforgettable week. 💙🎾

From learning the value of earning and saving through our Ace Bucks program to building confidence on the tennis court and making lifelong friendships, every day at First Serve Miami is about more than just sports—it’s about preparing the next generation for success.

These smiles, memories, and milestones are only possible because of a community that believes in our kids.

A special thank you to and Foundation for partnering with us to make Financial Literacy Week an engaging, hands-on experience that our campers will never forget. 💸🙌
