🇭🇹📸 3 DAYS. YOUNG PEOPLE. IMAGES. STORIES. IMPACT!

Discover through these photos the energy of the first phase of the 3rd edition of Haiti: Summer Photographer, held in Port-de-Paix from August 12–14, 2026.

Under the theme “Photography & Social Impact: I Picture My Neighborhood,” young participants combined theory and hands-on practice while exploring photography, storytelling, social media, initiative-taking, and digital leadership. 📱📷

Through Youth Digital Lead Impact (YDLI), we are making digital tools and photography pathways for youth empowerment, leadership, and social peace.

🚀 And this is only Phase 1!
Participants are now entering the photo competition to make their neighborhoods speak through their lenses.

Nous sommes heureux de soutenir Messerne Sagesse , finaliste de la 4ᵉ édition du Prix de l’Innovation et du Leadership Citoyen/Edition C3.

Son engagement à travers Cinécolo Haïti rejoint notre vision portée notamment à travers notre programme Youth Digital Lead Impact et Haïti : Photographe de l’Été en particulier : en faisant de l’image, du digital et de la créativité des outils d’engagement citoyen et d’impact communautaire.

Ce soutien ouvre également la voie à de prochaines collaborations en discussion avec Cinécolo Haïti et Maison Verte d Haiti autour de la jeunesse, du digital, de l’environnement et du leadership.

Dans un contexte difficile en Haïti, la voix, le leadership et l’engagement des jeunes restent une force essentielle pour construire la paix et ouvrir de nouvelles perspectives.

The 3rd edition of “Haiti: Summer Photographer” kicks off today in Port-de-Paix!

This year, under the theme “Photography & Social Impact: I Picture My Neighborhood,” we invite young people to see their communities through a different lens, tell their stories, and use photography as a powerful tool for expression and social impact.

📸 Observe. Capture. Tell Stories. Create Impact.

Summer Photographer is part of Stand up For The Future’s Youth Digital Lead Impact (YDLI) program, designed to strengthen digital leadership, skills, and access to opportunities, equipping young people to become agents of peace and positive change in their communities through digital tools.

A huge thank you to our speakers, partners, and entire team for making this new edition possible.

Every meeting is another step forward in growing our mission in Haiti, strengthening our team, building connections with local leaders, and deepening our engagement with communities.

Yesterday, a working session with part of our team in Haiti, led by our MEAL Technical Advisor, Charestan Junior , to prepare upcoming activities and strengthen our community accountability efforts.
