The ultimate goal of therapy is regaining as much independence as possible. After a spinal cord injury one's limbs are affected, quadriplegic if it's all 4 limbs and paraplegic if it's 2.

Thankfully now in 2026 there are a lot of assistive devices that help make completing daily independent task easier. Where there is a will, there is a way!

On Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month we went out to the Miami Marlins vs cubs ball game. Uniting the SCI community and going out together is a big win, like the Marlins 10-3 win on Josh Beckett Hall of Fame day.

This is an inclusive Pickleball Tournament for all skill levels including a wheelchair division. There will be food, beverages, raffles, prizes, and fun for all.

You do not need to have a DUPR rating to play and your DUPR rating will not be affected by the results of the matches.
