This is an inclusive Pickleball Tournament for all skill levels including a wheelchair division. There will be food, beverages, raffles, prizes, and fun for all.

You do not need to have a DUPR rating to play and your DUPR rating will not be affected by the results of the matches.

From a simulation to reality! 🚘
Everyone that has ever driven a car knows the mobility required to turn a steering wheel, reflexes needed (especially in Miami), and the stamina that one must-have to drive.

Leduar has regained the strength, as well as the mobility to drive again post-SCI. Using hand controls to operate the gas and break pedals rather than his feet, along with a tri-pin steering device that attaches to steering wheel to control the wheel. This also requires him to transfer himself in and out of the car. 💪

July, "The World Works Better With Us"

July is a symbolic month for the SCI and Disabled community. This month we celebrate the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). It is also Disability Pride Month. A month to celebrate disability identity and community
as well as recognize disability culture and leadership.

July is perceived as a critical month for SCIs, mostly due to summer activities that cause a spike in SCI.

Last night hosted a get-together for spinal cord injuries and others to hang out. We had some mentoring, shared some laughs, had some bites, and all together had a great time bonding. As a foundation we wanted to take part in this event that unites some of the SCI community. We were able (no pun intended) to sponsor the cost of food and beverages for the event. We hope to see you at the next one!
