We are excited to launch WAWA Sessions, our new series of monthly talks and events led by our Board of Directors, focused on key areas and specializations within the audiovisual industry.

New Generations in the Audiovisual Industry

Hosted by Emilia Nuccio, WAWA Board Director and President of Enoro Media (USA), this session will bring together a new generation of professionals who are actively building their path within the audiovisual industry.

Through their own experiences and current roles, María Zuleta (Caracol Television), Michelle Ávalos and Cynthia Ismino Moya (TelevisaUnivision, USA), and Perla Atanacio (Filmakersmovie | Don Porfirio, Mexico) will share their perspectives as part of the generation shaping what’s next.

Last Tuesday, Worldwide Audiovisual Women’s Association (WAWA) and Yolu came together for a dynamic session introducing WAWA’s new YouTube channel initiative.

During the event, participants explored opportunities to expand content visibility, learn about monetization pathways, and engage in a live exchange with the community.

WAWA members are invited to submit their content to be considered for the channel and be part of this new global showcase.

We are pleased to announce that the 6th edition of “WAWA First Look Turquia 2026|” will take place on Thursday, April 30 at 11am Miami time.

Our annual showcase brings together Turkish companies presenting their content to international buyers and WAWA members, creating a space to discover new titles and explore business opportunities across Latin America and beyond.

Get a first look at Turkish content ahead of LA Screenings and start conversations early with key players in the market.

This edition will feature a special guest: Iñaki Vicente, who joins Ay Yapim as Chief Content & Strategy Officer.
