Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the courage shown by first responders and ordinary citizens during one of our nation's darkest days.
In the days following September 11, Scouts across our country stepped forward to help. They collected supplies, supported first responders, assisted families, and lived the promise of the Scout Oath to "help other people at all times." Scouts have continued that tradition of service and remembrance in the years since through community service, patriotic events, and projects that ensure we never forget.
As Scouts, we honor the heroes of 9/11 not only with our words, but through our actions. Every act of kindness, every helping hand, and every effort to make our communities stronger reflects the values they demonstrated that day.
Today, Pack 10 remembers.
❤️ We remember the innocent lives lost.
🤍 We remember the families who continue to carry the weight of that day.
💙 We remember the firefighters, police officers, EMS personnel, and countless others who answered the call to serve.
May we continue to live by the Scout Law: to be helpful, friendly, kind, and brave.
