O, Miami was featured in the latest Louis Vuitton City Guide to Miami! We’re honored to represent our city’s literary arts in this beautiful publication alongside the stories and work of incredibly talented Miamians, many of whom are longtime O, Miami collaborators. 🦩

Caroline and Melody’s photo-op features a poem by printed on a roll of toilet paper 🧻, which we produced in 2025 for ’s immersive experience at , When Mangos Last in My Backyard Bloom’d. 🥭 

This summer, we’re working with Jayme as a mentor for our Greenhouse artist cohort and with Carmen on the culmination of a 2026 festival project you’ll get to read all about sooner than soon! 🗞️ 

Carmen’s poem is published in “Waterproof: Evidence of a Miami Worth Remembering,” a collection of micro-elegies to Miami places. Also featured in LV’s City Guide to Miami is our 2024 publication, “Ventanitas: A Window into Miami’s Coffee Culture” by and ! ☕

Our “Meet the Artist” series kicks off tomorrow at Coral Gables Library!  

Stop by and meet writer Nia Doyley, who’s fresh out of her summer in the O, Miami Greenhouse 🌱

Modeled after The Human Library, a movement started in Copenhagen in 2000, this free activation invites South Floridians to sit down with a local artist and connect over creative work and experiences. Guests can share and exchange writing and/or artwork, ask for professional or creative advice, and even write or create on the spot with the artist’s guidance. 

Sessions are free and about 15 minutes each, depending on demand. First come, first served. Thank you, Nia!

The 2027 O, Miami Poetry Festival Open Call is officially live! 💫

We are now accepting project proposals for our 16th annual Poetry Festival this upcoming April. We welcome ideas that engage South Floridians and amplify poetry in unexpected ways.

This year’s theme is Transformation. We invite project proposals that address transformation in all its various permutations: evolution, metaphor, alchemy, reinvention, repurposing, etc… 🪷

If your project is selected, the O, Miami team will help you and any collaborators plan and produce your project, which must occur or culminate in April 2027.

Last week, a 2026 Poetry Festival project was installed at the Gold Coast Railroad Museum, and you’re invited to its official unveiling on August 22!

Made in collaboration with 2026 O, Miami project manager Nicole Espillat, “Track It: Times & Lines” showcases poetry by South Floridians on a permanently installed split-flap sign inside the Gold Coast Railroad Museum’s model train exhibit room.

Join us for a Sunset Party where we’ll officially launch the project and celebrate the kickoff of the 2027 Poetry Festival proposal open call!

You can expect sunset cocktails, summer vibes, and a look at past festival projects reimagined as micro pop-ups and mini workshops!

On August 22, O, Miami is partnering with the Gold Coast Railroad Museum for a Sunset Party celebrating the launch of the 2027 Festival Open Call and the unveiling of two Civic Publishing projects from the 2026 O, Miami Poetry Festival!

ICYMI: O, Miami is accepting full-length poetry manuscripts for the first annual Jubi Arriola-Headley South Florida Book Prize now through August 15.

All writers with deep, enduring ties to South Florida are encouraged to apply. The prize winner will receive a $1000 honorarium, publication by O, Miami, 10 contributor copies, an author’s discount for additional copies, and a celebration during the 2027 O, Miami Poetry Festival!
