SEPI Southeast Pastoral Institute SEPI, the Southeast Pastoral Institute, is the Hispanic Evangelization and Formation institute of the US Catholic Bishops of the 30 dioceses of SE USA.

The Southeast Regional Office for Hispanic Ministry is the organization of the US Catholic Bishops of USCCB regions V and XIV that coordinates and assists Hispanic Ministries in the 30 dioceses of the Southeastern United States, collaborating in the Catholic Church’s evangelization efforts of the growing Hispanic/Latino communities. Through its educational branch, the Southeast Pastoral Institute,

SEPI provides theological, pastoral, and ministry formation services and programs, as well as leadership formation programs for Hispanic lay-ecclesial ministers, youth, and young adults. Through its three pillars of Evangelization, Formation, and Communion, SEPI strives to facilitate the full participation of Hispanics/Latinos in the mission of the Church and society as authentic missionary disciples. WHAT We Do:
• Provide Evangelization Services and Programs to communities and dioceses.
• Provide Formation and Leadership empowerment programs for Hispanic/Latino lay ministers and young adults.
• Foster Bridge-building efforts with multi-cultural and Hispanic Ministry Offices and ministries in the Southeast dioceses.

Te invitamos a un curso especial para estudiar la vida, el pensamiento y la espiritualidad de Santa Teresa Benedicta de la Cruz (Edith Stein): filósofa judía alemana, convertida al catolicismo, carmelita y mártir en Auschwitz.

Durante dos días profundizaremos en su camino intelectual y espiritual, su encuentro con Dios y su testimonio de fe en medio de uno de los contextos más oscuros del siglo XX.

El curso será impartido por Francisco Javier Sancho Fermín, OCD, teólogo y sacerdote carmelita, director del CITeS – Universidad de la Mística en Ávila, y reconocido experto en espiritualidad y mística cristiana.
