๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐๐น๐, to everyone who has commented, reached out, or emailed to thank me personally (whether as a winner or just for the opprtunity to win)... I will graciously take credit for all of the 'fun' administrative burdens in organizing this massive giveaway...
BUT I want to remind everyone that Tubie2go used money from the GoFundMe that was set up as a memorial fund for Magnus shortly after his passing.
A total of $10K was generously donated from our friends and followers just after Magnus' passing so that I could find ways of honoring his memory while giving back to the very community that inspired ALL of THIS -- that is, Tubie2go (free giveaways included)!
That means I should be thanking anyone who contributed to that fund.
The 26 Canadian rompers Tubie2go paid for was just a small drop in the bucket so if you didn't win a romper, don't worry friends! There is plenty more to come.
๐ฆ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ฑ๐น๐, this giveaway would also not have been possible without the generosity of my friend Laura and her foundation, Julen Smiles; they sponsored all 76 of the USA winner rompers.
Laura and her late son, Julen, deserve a whole separate post and writeup... they are an inspiration I must share with ya'll but I will leave that for another day and another time!
For now, let's just say that the commonality between Magnus and Julen brought us two Mamas together. For better or for worse. That's medical life for you... always a bit of both sides.
๐๐ถ๐ป๐ฎ๐น๐น๐, a special thanks to owner Carin and her team at Ready Set Romper for working with Laura and I to maximize our funds... so that we could reward as many tubie families as possible for Magnus' b-day year.
Carin and I have been messaging back and forth as far back as December, organizing how to make this happen.
She and her company not only help kids like Magnus find comfortable and tube accessible clothes, but they sponsor an entire village of children in Uganda as well, both to get schooling and in attire.
If you haven't shopped Ready Set Romper as of yet, I encourage you to check them out! It is a business with big hearts behind it, both in the owner and the community of followers... much like Tubie2go!
