Last week we had the honor of presenting at the American Association of Suicidology Conference in Missouri. 🤍
Our talk, “Connection Is Not a Bonus, It’s a Lifeline,” focused on Hispanic culture, generational experiences, and how our personal loss forced us to reflect on the conversations around mental health we grew up with and what could have been done differently.
Our goal is never to change our culture, but to expand it. To create more room for vulnerability, emotional literacy, connection, and asking for help while still honoring the strength, resilience, and values that shape our communities.
Thankful for every person who showed up, listened, and shared space with us during such an important conversation. 💜
