🐾❤️ HUNTER UPDATE ❤️🐾

Today Hunter had a follow-up appointment with his primary veterinarian and repeated bloodwork. We are beyond relieved to share some AMAZING news!

Hunter has NO masses in his spleen or liver. After additional testing and evaluations, it appears that the antibiotics prescribed by VEG Emergency Hospital are helping significantly, and his white blood cell count is improving quickly.

Unfortunately, Hunter was initially misdiagnosed by Green Light Animal Hospital in Orlando which is horrible what they said. The news that was received at that time was absolutely devastating, and Andrea and Jesus truly felt like their world was falling apart. Thankfully, further diagnostics and follow-up care have shown a much more hopeful picture.

Hunter is slowly returning to his normal self, and we couldn’t be more grateful. He is in great hands, responding well to treatment, and we are all incredibly relieved. Most importantly, Hunter has a long life ahead of him, and for that we thank God every day. 🙏❤️

While we are celebrating this positive progress, the road to getting answers has come with thousands of dollars in emergency visits, diagnostics, bloodwork, ultrasounds, X-rays, medications, and follow-up care.

Update on Hunter:

After being seen at Green Light Emergency Vet, Andrea was told that Hunter appeared to have a mass between his spleen and lungs. Because he continued to feel unwell after returning home, she rushed him to VEG Emergency Veterinary Hospital on Sunday morning for a second opinion.

At VEG, Hunter received a new ultrasound, X-rays, and bloodwork, and etc. The good news is that VEG did not find any visible mass on any of the imaging performed.

However, his bloodwork showed a critically low white blood cell count, along with slightly decreased platelets and inflammation in his abdomen. These findings are concerning, and veterinarians are still working to determine the cause. (The inflammation describes why the other vet thought it was a mass when it was not)

About three weeks ago, Hunter also had a 4DX SNAP test, which came back negative for Heartworm disease, Ehrlichia, Lyme disease, and Anaplasma, making his condition even more puzzling.

Hunter was able to go home under close supervision and has started medications, including antibiotics. He will see his primary veterinarian on Tuesday for repeat bloodwork to see if his white blood cell count is improving and if the medications are helping.

While we are relieved that no mass was found, we still do not have answers, and Hunter needs all the prayers and positive thoughts he can get as we continue searching for a diagnosis. ❤️🐾

Only two weeks after his adoption, Hunter suddenly became very ill. Hunters parents have been amazing to him and have showed him so much love these past 2 weeks. He stopped eating, became extremely lethargic, and refused to drink water. Andrea rushed him to the emergency veterinarian as this became strange to her as Hunters behavior changed. Testing revealed masses on his liver and spleen, with cancer being suspected. 💔 (still not confirmed, Hunter is CURRENTLY having test done at the moment we will update every step of the way)

So far, Hunter’s emergency diagnostics alone have exceeded $2,000, and this does not include any treatment, specialist consultations, medications, or additional testing that may be needed moving forward.

After finally finding a loving home, Hunter deserves every opportunity to receive the medical care and answers he needs.

Andrea is doing everything she can for him, but the costs are quickly becoming overwhelming. We are asking our amazing supporters to help us help Hunter during this difficult time. As we are trying our best to support Andrea it is also hard for us to keep up but we try in anyway we can!

Cooper is a 2-year-old purebred Golden Retriever puppy and is being given up for adoption because the person now has him mostly in a caged section of his yard and knows that he deserves something better.

He is a little anxious because of being in a limited space but he calms down after a while when they release him.

He is super friendly, he is neutered and up to date with all his vaccines. He gets along well with other dogs. He walks very well on his leash.

After spending the last 5 months safely in foster care since they were tiny babies, this sweet little family is once again searching for their forever homes. ❤️

Mama Milagros, estimated to be around 1–2 years old, is the sweetest girl and has done such an amazing job raising her babies, Mango & Tulip. 🍊🌷 We believe the puppies may be Husky mixes with their beautiful eyes and playful personalities.

Sadly, they are in a TEMPORARY foster home while we urgently search for adopters or committed placements.

Meet Amos, Dixie, & Smokey ❤️🐾

These sweet babies are currently stuck in boarding while we continue searching for foster homes. Boarding costs are adding up quickly and we simply cannot keep up much longer. What they truly need is a HOME environment where they can decompress, feel loved, and finally experience comfort and stability.

✨ Amos — 3 year old neutered male — dog friendly
✨ Dixie — 1 year old female — dog friendly & spayed
✨ Smokey — 3 year old neutered male — dog friendly

We are even willing to place them with PAID fosters so they can finally experience what life in a loving home feels like even if we are paying— just like Star, Midnight, and Walker are currently doing in their foster homes. 🏡❤️

Belle spent the last year of her life surviving in a warehouse… alone, neglected, and forgotten. 💔

When we finally got close enough to help her, we noticed something heartbreaking — she had no front teeth, and her canine teeth appeared completely filed down. We may never know the full extent of what this sweet girl endured, but her body tells a story of pain no animal should ever experience.

And yet… despite everything, Belle is still gentle. Still loving. Still trusting humans enough to lean in for affection. 🥺

Right now, she is finally safe and receiving medical care, but we urgently need help covering her vet expenses and finding her a foster home where she can begin to heal emotionally and physically.

For the first time in a very long time, Belle no longer has to survive. Now she deserves to live. To feel safe. To be loved the way every dog should be. 🤍🐾

Our sweet Milagros is still waiting for her forever home. She was rescued from the streets of neglect. Thankfully her foster parents have tried to hold onto as much as possible but unfortunately they can’t hold her anymore. Milagros and her pups are both dog friendly.

Please note they can all go separate into homes.
