Modeled after a professional television writers’ room, the Arts Accelerator Writers Room is an interactive monthly Story Development Lab where writers come together to share, brainstorm, troubleshoot, and strengthen their work with fellow writers and industry professionals.
Whether you're just starting out, stuck on a project, revising a script, or preparing to pitch, you'll get:
✍️ Actionable feedback to identify what's working and what needs improvement.
💡 Real-time brainstorming to develop ideas and solve creative problems.
🎯 Practical tools to strengthen your writing, loglines, pitches, and stories.
🤝 A supportive creative community of writers, filmmakers, actors, and industry professionals.
🚀 Tangible progress on the project you want to bring to life.
The Writers Room welcomes complete beginners through professional writers, producers, and actors. You don't need a finished script—just a story, idea, or desire to become a better storyteller.
The Format
Sessions run 10 AM–1 PM on the second Sunday of each month. Writers may read up to 10 minutes of their work and receive approximately 10 minutes of structured feedback. Reading slots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, but everyone benefits from participating in the creative problem-solving process.
