⭐️WHY THIS SHOWCASE IS DIFFERENT
1. Your Film Is Seen by Industry Professionals Who Understand the Market
Our judges bring experience from across film, television, production, distribution, and the entertainment industry.
If your film is selected, it has the opportunity to be seen by people with real industry experience and insight into what connects with audiences and the marketplace.
But you have to submit before the deadline.
⭐️2. Give Your Short Film a Chance to Keep Working for You
How many short films have you made that ended their journey after a few festival screenings?
The Florida Filmmaker Showcase is designed to explore a different possibility.
Selected short films are packaged into a feature-length anthology created for distribution and presented to global streaming opportunities, including platforms such as Tubi, FilmRise, Amazon Prime and others, where available and accepted.
If selected for the anthology, filmmakers receive the opportunity for:
Inclusion in the feature-length Florida Filmmaker Showcase anthology
Professional promotion of the anthology and participating filmmakers
Potential global streaming distribution
Potential revenue sharing under a non-exclusive distribution agreement
Continued ownership of their individual films
Yes—you still own the rights to your film.
⭐️3. We Want Audiences to Meet the Filmmaker Behind the Film
Your film can make an impression.
But so can you.
Every filmmaker selected for the anthology receives a professionally produced, on-camera interview integrated into the feature.
That means audiences don't simply watch your work.
They get to meet the person who created it.
