Hatzalah South Florida wishes our entire community a safe and meaningful Lag BaOmer. As we come together to celebrate with bonfires, gatherings, and family, it’s important to remember that safety isn’t automatic — it’s a choice.

Please remember that our volunteers are always ready to respond, and you should never hesitate to call.

Celebrate responsibly, look out for one another, and help keep our community safe.

Wishing everyone a happy, safe, and uplifting Lag BaOmer. 💛💙

This past week at the Hilton in Aventura, members of Hatzalah South Florida were honored by the Chamber of Commerce for going above and beyond in service to our community—responding to nearly 500 emergency calls in 2025.

We also recognize three outstanding community leaders— Daniel Naim, Daniel Diesendruck, and Commissioner Linda Marks—who were honored for their unwavering support and dedication to Hatzalah South Florida.

This week, we had the privilege of honoring Joe Teplow and Daniel Loeb for their dedication of a Emergency Response Vehicle to Hatzalah South Florida, in loving memory of Rabbi Sholom Dovber Lipsker Z”L, on the day of his first yahrzeit.

May this vehicle serve as a true vessel of kindness and lifesaving service, continuing his legacy by helping save lives and support our community every day.

Proud to join the Aventura Police Department, alongside Miami-Dade Fire Rescue, at this year’s “Bring Your Kids to Work” event in Aventura. It was a great opportunity to connect with families, meet members of the community, and give people a closer look at what we do every day.

We brought out our ambulance — and the monster truck — so kids and adults alike could explore them up close, ask questions, and learn more about emergency response. Giving children the chance to step inside an ambulance and experience it firsthand made the day even more meaningful.

Grateful to work alongside our local agencies and be part of events that bring the community together while showcasing the important work being done every day.

Today we had the honor of welcoming Larry Miller and Carolyn Cohen to Hatzalah South Florida headquarters.

As the generous donors of HSF 917, their ambulance has already helped save over 200 lives in the first quarter of 2026.

They toured our dispatch, logistics, and training centers and were amazed by the infrastructure supporting over 10,000 patients each year.

Thanks to partners like the Millers, we continue to grow and save lives every day. 🚑💙
