The Children’s Prize is back for another exciting year! Do you have an effective intervention that will save the lives of children under five?
The Children’s Prize is an open online competition with a mission to advance child health and survival by insisting on impact and data-driven interventions. The 2025 application opens August 15th to individuals and organizations globally, and applications will be accepted several weeks thereafter.
The winner will have the opportunity to enter into a $165,000 grant agreement. Since 2013, the Children’s Prize has awarded over $2,000,000 to life-saving interventions across the globe. The Prize administrators will search for an impactful project that aligns with the Foundation’s goals and has a measured reduction in child mortality.
This year, we are looking for projects that support resilient, hard infrastructure. Hard infrastructure refers to tangible, physical structures and systems that are essential for an area to function. Key components of hard infrastructure include, but are not limited to: buildings and facilities, energy, water and sanitation, transportation, communication, and other essential systems such as environmental protection systems and flood control systems. The 2025 Children’s Prize will prioritize initiatives that create long lasting resources that play a core role in sustaining child health.
