Giving back to our community

At Love God Love People Outreach Ministry, we believe that love is more than words — it is action, compassion, service, and sacrifice. God calls us to be a light in the lives of others, especially those who are hurting, forgotten, struggling, or in need of hope.

Our mission is to uplift hearts, strengthen communities, and remind people that they are never alone. Whether through prayer, encouragement, feeding the needy, outreach, or simply showing kindness, every act done with love carries the power to heal and restore.

When we love God wholeheartedly, we learn how to genuinely love people. In a world where many are searching for peace, acceptance, and direction, let us continue to be vessels of grace, humility, and unity.

Serving our community is not an obligation, but an action of love chosen by a dedicated heart. This choice creates connections with our brothers and sisters where we can touch hearts, bring hope, spread awareness, and share love with someone who may have never experienced such kindness throughout their journey on this earth.

And now, here you are sharing that love with them. You should be proud of yourself for choosing to give back to your community. Every act of service, no matter how small, carries the power to change a life, inspire hope, and remind others that they are not forgotten.

This young lady will remain in my heart forever.

During one of our “Feeding the Needy” community giveback events, we connected with this little sister right here. From the moment we met her, it felt as though she was crying out for God to send His disciples to rescue her. As we spent time speaking with her, our hearts were moved to do something we had never done before — to take her to a safe and peaceful place, even if it was only for one night of comfort and wellness.

Unfortunately, despite every effort we made, nothing was successful. We left that day carrying sadness, worry, and many unanswered questions in our hearts. As we continued returning to serve meals during future outreach events, we noticed she never came back. We prayed, we mourned, and we held on to hope.

Then in March, during our last “Feeding the Needy” event, we were told that she was no longer with us.

I asked myself, “God, what did we not do right? How much power do we truly have to make a difference?” What I realized is that one person alone cannot change the world. It takes a village — people willing to create safe spaces, provide resources, and come together to serve those in desperate need before it is too late.

These are not strangers. They are our brothers, sisters, children, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and loved ones. Their pain is our pain.

If this message touches your heart, we invite you to connect with us, partner with us, and stand with us. We are calling on volunteers and professionals from all fields to help us continue making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.
