Miami Dade Association of Black Social Workers Chapter (MDABSW) was formed in July of 1973. It is a non-profit organization of professional African ancestry.

We offer resources and develop programs in the interest of our community.

The Miami‑Dade Association of Black Social Workers fundraiser has officially launched! The purpose is to support initiatives that benefit our communities in need, including continuing our scholarship program, providing resources, and continuing education (workshops, town halls, forums, and advocacy). We are asking each member/community stakeholder to complete at least one scratch-off card (with 2–4 strongly encouraged). To help ensure the successful completion of the fundraiser, members/community stakeholders are welcome to share their scratch-off with friends, family, or other supporters. The fundraiser will run through May 2, 2026.
