Tee up for something bigger than golf. ⛳️

The BBBS Miami Big Golf Classic is here, THIS Friday, October 9.

This year, about 25 of our School-to-Work youth will be on the course with our team for a golf clinic, learning the game and seeing what's possible. When you play or sponsor the Big Golf Classic, that's what your dollars build.

It's a morning on the course that fuels one-to-one mentorship for Miami's youth. Corporate foursomes, sponsors, and mentors, this one's for you.

A Big Day Out with Big memories. 🏈⚾️

Big Hugo and Little Shiquan had a blast at the FIU football game on Saturday, September 26th with family and friends. Meanwhile, Big Nicholas and Little Estirlyz enjoyed a Miami Marlins baseball game together.

Our matches love getting out to sports games. Through our mentorship program, we offer free sports game tickets throughout the year, giving Bigs and Littles more ways to connect, have fun, and make memories outside of the everyday.

WE NEED YOU! 🟢

We have 4 students waiting for a mentor at Coral Reef Senior High School: 3 males and 1 female.

This is where you come in.

Be the difference. It takes very little time to make a BIG impact. Whether it's listening, encouraging, or simply being a consistent presence, you can help a young person stay on track and reach their goals.

From a freshman handed a microphone in a Toledo high school gym… to the Voice of the Miami HEAT. 🎤🖤🔥

Congratulations to our President & CEO, Gale Nelson, named the new Voice of the Miami HEAT!

Back at Bowsher High in 1987, the late Mr. James Ray, his high school principal, and former NBA player, saw something in a freshman and handed him a mic in a packed gym. Today, that moment comes full circle inside Kaseya Center.

Gale carries the torch lit by the legendary Michael "Mike B" Baiamonte all while continuing to lead Big Brothers Big Sisters of Miami. Two roles, one mission.

In his words: "Mentorship is about using your voice to lift someone else up. Now I get to do that for a whole arena."

He knows the families in those seats, he's worked alongside them for two decades. And every young person watching sees the same thing: you can lead a nonprofit and be the Voice of the HEAT. Dream BIG. 🌟

Catch his debut Oct 6 at the Red, White & Pink game, and his first home preseason game Oct 8 vs. the New Orleans Pelicans.

Mentorship gave him the mic. Now the whole city gets to hear it.

HEAT Nation, let's get loud. Go HEAT! 🔊
