Superhero Leadership Academy Superhero Leadership Academy (SLA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, whose mission is to teach students profe This Voice of the Youth will lead us forward.

We want to invest in bridging the gap between education and the economy by building a community of active youth leaders. We will empower these leaders to continuously develop their superpower skill-sets as learners. Through collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity. As they strive to cultivate their own superhero identity, set an example, and unite humanity; they will save us and our planet.

What an amazing time at the with Sustainability Director, Teddy Lhoutellier and Associate Director, Lindsey Goldstein of with our 2025 Interns.

Mr. Teddy took and on The Green U Tour and Ms. Lindsey spoke with us about Leadership and Service at the University of Miami.

The interns loved the campus and its push for a green and sustainable environment. They also loved learning about leadership and service opportunities should they attend in the future.

Joint field trip with ECO Planet Earth to the Miami Dade County State Attorney’s Office on July 23, 2025 with our 2025 Interns.

What an exciting day learning about how the State Attorney’s office protects 2.5 million people in Miami-Dade County, how different departments operate, how laws that govern the state of Florida and sentences are interpreted and handed down, and how cases are analyzed to bring criminals to justice. They also learned how compassion and care is provided to victims and those they prosecute. Biggest lesson echoed was “Do not commit crimes.”

The field trip ended with a photo opportunity with the State Attorney, herself, Katherine Fernandez Rundle.

This event is dedicated to empowering the next generation of industry leaders and advancing our Legacy Gardens Initiative.

Preparing an adolescent, a teenager, a young adult for the real world is no easy task. The , understands this very well. "Investing in a safe, healthy and productive transition from childhood to adulthood is critical," they said in April 2022.

At SLA we believe this transition also lies in ensuring through communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity, any child, teen, or young adult via leadership and development skills, can lead a healthy and productive lifestyle and be in their own lives and in their communities.
