Happy New Year! 2023 is coming to a close.
As we look forward to the new year, I am sharing moments from the thousands of screenings of One Water in 625 locations around Eastern India organized by PPratham Education Foundation. Far away from the cinema mainstream, these screenings are taking place on screens large and small. Children watching the film are responding by creating posters and artwork relating to water in their own neighborhood. These screenings will continue into the New Year in other parts of the country. Yesterday, I was told that teachers and children alike would like to see similar films without words on other subjects such as Earth and Sky. What a terrific idea!
Hard to believe it has been 16 years since we completed the film.
