AFP Miami advances the field of fundraising by promoting the highest ethical standards and professional practices throughout the nonprofit sector in Miami-Dade County. AFP Miami has a membership of more than 150 talented and well-respected fundraising professionals from the private nonprofit, public, and consulting arenas; it provides them with numerous networking and educational/professional deve

lopment opportunities. The chapter strives for excellence in the fundraising profession by offering its members and the nonprofit community-in-general a variety of year-round educational, training, and advocacy programs, including collaborative efforts with other South Florida AFP chapters and co-sponsorship of the annual Planet Philanthropy Conference. AFP Miami members are experts in advancing charitable giving who seek to continually increase their fundraising expertise and maximize donor relations for the greater good of the organizations and constituencies they serve.
