Our 30th Anniversary Gala will feature an unforgettable evening of cocktails, dinner, entertainment, and inspiring student stories—all while celebrating the lives we've changed together.

For 30 years, South Florida After-School All-Stars has helped young people find safe spaces, caring mentors, and opportunities to thrive. Now, we need our community’s help.

This fall, we are proud to join the Afterschool Alliance's nationwide Lights On Afterschool initiative, celebrating the essential role after-school programs play in keeping children safe, inspiring learning, and supporting working families.

With approximately $1 million less in government funding this year, your support is more important than ever. Watch our two-minute video to learn more about the challenge we are facing—and how you can help us Keep the Lights On and light the path to brighter futures.

Then join us for our $30 for 30 Years campaign and consider being a monthly donor by giving $30 a month—or any amount that is meaningful to you and a monthly donation. That’s just $1 a day. You are listening to a short snippet of an original song our All-Stars made this summer called “Mean 2U” with the core question “What does love Mean 2 U?”

With help from our teachers, including Alexander Star , these students produced, mixed, wrote, recorded and performed this original song in a music video for the first time! And at that — all at no cost to them.

This is one of many amazing things our All-Stars did this summer. We can’t wait to see what they accomplish after school this year!🌟

Well All-Stars, we have a couple days of summer fun left before it’s back to school! It’s time to do that last minute school shopping, have some fun in the sun, and get ready for some epic After-School activities. We can’t wait to see you again this year for more laughs, learning, and lots of great memories! 🌟🌟🌟

Our All-Stars are on trial in the Miami Dade College Mock Court Room. What a joy it is to see our All-Stars imagining themselves in these roles AND having so much fun!🌟 Career exploration can be a great joy and at After-School All-Stars we try to give students that opportunity. This was a small part of a larger tour of the whole MDC campus. Our All-Stars got to check out several future fields of study in college and careers for after college!

This month, we’re thrilled to shine the spotlight on another incredible leader from the South Florida After-School All-Stars Board of Directors - Kristopher (Kris) Martin!
Kris is a Partner & Wealth Advisor at Element Pointe Family Office, where he’s been helping high- and ultra-high-net-worth families thrive since 2017. From smart asset allocation and complex financial planning to guiding entrepreneurial families through major business sales and liquidity events, he brings both expertise and collaboration to every client relationship.
His talent hasn’t gone unnoticed:
