The goal is to raise $100k before the end of 2023, doubling it through the 1:1 Matching Grant secured, to bring to screens and forums two powerful short films, each driven by strong female protagonists triumphing over adversity: “The Q Case” and “Hope, Resilience, Life.”

These heartfelt stories are fully developed as of this date and are set for production during Q1 2024, representing a testament to BTF Awareness’ commitment to impactful storytelling.

After taking some time to reflect on our accomplishments during Give Miami Day, we wanted to share our thoughts with you.

We are building a community of changemakers, a group of people who care and are committed to making the world a better place. Our aim is to create a community of people who take a moment to ground themselves and focus on what is truly important in life. This is the goal we had in mind when we created BTF Awareness and achieving it through audiovisual arts, feels amazing.

The significance of arts within humanity is undeniable. Arts have the ability to create a powerful impact, challenge our beliefs, transform our perspectives, and elicit strong reactions in every individual. They possess the potential to bring to light what is hidden and give voice to those silenced.

We kindly invite you to continue believing, to keep being a changemaker, and to become the hero of the stories by supporting our films and series because they are an outstanding educational catalyst that works with our deepest emotions, breaking down any barriers that may exist.

After taking some time to reflect on our accomplishments during Give Miami Day, we wanted to share our thoughts with you.

Firstly, we are incredibly grateful for all the love and support we received throughout the entire week. It was heartwarming to witness the presence of a considerable number of individuals who share the same passion as us, which is to serve and uplift others through our films and series, telling stories that embody hope, redemption, and purpose in the face of life’s adversities.

BTF Awareness uses audiovisual arts as a transformation platform to help heal what is broken in humanity. Where others see death, we see life. Where they see limitations, we see opportunities. When in struggle, we offer inclusion, dignity, respect, and compassion to build healthier relationships starting from individuals to families to peers to communities; because we believe this shall contribute to a safer world where love, life, and diversity are cherished.

Furthermore, we are thankful for the people in every corner of the world who helped us by donating or sharing our message. Every like, comment, share, story, and post meant the world to us.

Last but not least, we feel immensely grateful for the learning process we went through during the Give Miami Day event. This was our first-ever crowdfunding event, and it took hundreds of volunteer hours, dozens of courses and seminars, and great effort from the entire team at BTF Awareness.

Thanks to the organizers and allies and special thanks to , , and for all your accompaniment during this process. We can see the growth and achievement we have made, and we are already looking forward to our next campaign: Giving Tuesday.

With your support, every film and series we have written can reach thousands of people not only in Miami but also around the world, making you the hero of our stories.

BTF Awareness is proud to present an inspiring lineup of four short films that are currently awaiting production. The films are titled His Gaze, Undrowned, The Q Case, and Hope | Resilience | Life. All of these heartfelt dramedies feature strong female protagonists who overcome adversity and face the challenges of physical, emotional, or mental disabilities. The films aim to address the urgent needs of individuals with disabilities by empowering them to choose lives filled with happiness and dignity, rather than remaining in the shadows and feeling guilt-ridden or disregarded.
