Sunday of Memorial Day weekend with THREE full SUVs from Midtown Miami of fresh food, produce, fruit, bread and baked goods headed to Overtown to the .haven.project Urban Garden and Farm.

Free food distribution at Greenhaven every Sunday beginning at 11 am.

Our “Oscar Moment” selfie! Final breakout at Food Waste Solutions Summit was appropriately named “Crowd Control” and focused on food waste prevention at large venues and events both in upfront planning and then organized and effective diversion.
Proud to represent and .soflo with fellow panelists, Christy, Caroline, Liz and Emma, key leaders in the space.

Now back to our regular programming of 100+ food rescues a week! Thanks for holding down the fort this week .is.here and all of our amazing volunteers.

Our next .soflo “Farmers Market” is on Saturday May 30th in celebration of 🇭🇹
We are joining many Ti Ayiti community organizations to provide fresh food, flowers, massages, health and wellness information and more in a festive and respectful setting in the Little Haiti Cultural Center!
When: Saturday May 30th
Where: LHCC 212 NE 59th Terrace
Time: Event 9-3pm/Farmers Market 11:30-1 while supplies last.

After the races… WE RESCUE!
DAY ONE: Our 5th year recovering the unused surplus food, produce, meat, and other ingredients from !
Co Site Director, is on location with our Special Projects leads to insure no food goes to waste, but instead is rescued and directed to local shelters, ministries, soup kitchens and food pantries.
