TreeWatch Coconut Grove Tree Advocacy / Promoting and Saving Urban Tree Canopy We are organized as a clearing house so that area residents can report illegal tree cuttings through us.

TreeWatch is an award-winning tree advocacy group founded Coconut Grove by Liliana Dones and Santiago Villegas in 2005. TreeWatch files appeals to save trees, especially those in the public right of way, which have intended for removal by the City our of its own desire or art the request of individual and organizations. We encourage our city residents and officials to not take our trees for granted, and to help save and protect them, and thus grow our canopy.
