Hi everyone. Unfortunately we will not be able to feed the homeless this month. We will resume feeding the homeless next month on August 30th. See you than!

Hi everyone!
We are happy to say that there is a large influx of organizations feeding the homeless the 3rd Sunday of every month. In our efforts to further serve the community we will be feeding the homeless the last Sunday of every month from now on, instead of the 3rd Sunday. We will be adjusting our event's name slightly and will now be called “Sundays for Hunger”. The event details will stay the same, and it is always an open invitation. Thank you to all of our supporters and volunteers. See you May 31st!

“Sketches for Mankind” is collaborating with The Wynwood Book Club to bring you the "Book Bag Project". We will be giving out "essentials" book bags filled with various toiletry, and non-perishable food items to the homeless community in the Downtown Miami area. Our goal is to give out as many complete book bags as we can with the help of your contributions. The homeless community rarely has carrying material to carry around their only belongings. With the “Bookbag” Project, we hope to not only provide a personal carrying item to store their belongings, but also food and other essentials needed. We will be handing out the book bags at August’s “3rd Sunday for Hunger Event” on August 17, 2014. If you would like to donate to the "Bookbag Project" please send us an email at [email protected]. Donations of supplies from the itemized list attached can be made, or a donation of a completed bookbag as well. We have also attached a complete list of items needed to complete 50 bookbags for this month.

The Wynwood Book Club meets the 1st & 3rd Saturdays, from 5-7pm at Sprout: 2563 N Miami Ave Miami Fl. For more info on the Wynwood Book Club, check out and like their page

“Sketches for Mankind” is a non-profit organization based out of Miami. We host a 3rd Sunday for Hunger event every 3rd Sunday of every month, and hand out 200+ lunches in the Downtown Miami Area.
