The FBA is seeking volunteers to participate in its Civil Discussions and Difficult Decisions program on October 2 from 9:00-11:00 am. Magistrate Judge D’Angelo will host a group of 7th grade students in her courtroom to participate in a guided discussion and debate. Attorney volunteers will spend the morning helping to coach the students, sharpen their arguments, and support the discussion. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve the FBA and give back to the community.

The South Florida Chapter of the Federal Bar Association was proud to represent our members at the FBA Annual Meeting and Convention in Richmond, Virginia.

We were honored to receive the 2026 Chapter Activity Presidential Excellence Award, which honors superior chapter activities in the areas of administration, membership outreach and programming.

It was a great few days connecting with federal practitioners and judiciary members from across the country. Thank you to everyone who took the time to connect with us in Richmond — we're excited to bring what we learned back to our chapter!
