HAYO Remembering Marie Georgia David
Let's Honor Marie Georgia David's Memory
On behalf of the Executive Adult Committee and the Youth Committee of the Haitian American Youth Organization of Kendall (HAYO) and myself, I send my deepest condolences to Mrs. Marie Nathalie David and family, Attorney Geralda David and family, Mrs. Gaelle David and family, Mr. Claude Emmanuel David and family on the passing of their beloved mother, Marie Georgia David. We understand it is a profound loss, and our hearts go out to you during this difficult time.
In 1998, at the foundation of HAYO, Marie Georgia encouraged her teen kids to join, share, and learn about the cultural life of Haitians in Miami's diversity. They were, indeed, among the pioneer members who contributed to the success of HAYO by sharing their talents. They would drive from Tamarac to Kendall every Friday to participate in the meetings, rehearsals, and roundtables of HAYO.
Many will remember Marie Georgia as a wonderful mother and caring person always ready to assist others and her community. She will be dearly missed by all of us in HAYO and, particularly, the David family.
May the divine light of our Lord shine upon Marie Georgia's soul, bringing her eternal peace and comfort.

A la mémoire de Marie Georgia David
Au nom du Comité exécutif des adultes et du Comité des jeunes de la Haitian-American Youth Organization of Kendall (l'Organisation de la jeunesse haïtienne américaine de Kendall) (HAYO) et en mon nom personnel, j'adresse mes plus sincères condoléances à Mme Marie Nathalie David et à sa famille, à l'avocate Geralda David et à sa famille, à Mme Gaelle David et à sa famille, à M. Claude Emmanuel David et à sa famille pour le décès de leur mère bien-aimée, Marie Georgia David. Nous comprenons qu'il s'agit d'une perte profonde et nos pensées vous accompagnent pendant cette période difficile.
En 1998, lors de la fondation de HAYO, Marie Georgia a encouragé ses enfants adolescents à se joindre à nous, à partager et à découvrir la vie culturelle des Haïtiens dans la diversité de Miami. Ils faisaient en effet partie des membres pionniers qui ont contribué au succès de HAYO en partageant leurs talents. Ils se rendaient de Tamarac à Kendall tous les vendredis pour participer aux réunions, aux répétitions et aux tables rondes de HAYO.
Beaucoup se souviendront de Marie Georgia comme d'une mère merveilleuse et d'une personne attentionnée, toujours prête à aider les autres et sa communauté. Elle nous manquera beaucoup à HAYO et, en particulier à la famille David et ses alliés.
Que la lumière divine de notre Seigneur brille sur l'âme de Marie Georgia, lui apportant la paix et le réconfort éternels.
