The foundation had the opportunity to visit the orphanage today and see the progress on the bakery construction. We’re excited to begin taste testing the bread over the next week or so, with plans for an opening ceremony in early July. The girls are super excited to start working there!

We’re making steady progress on the new bakery at the girls’ orphanage! Every brick and beam brings us closer to opening a space that will provide fresh bread, skills training, and meaningful opportunities for the girls and the local community.
We can’t wait to open our doors and start selling warm, delicious bread to the local community!

We’re thrilled to announce that the foundation has officially started construction on the new bakery!

Our goal is to create a fully functional bakery right on-site at the orphanage. It will provide fresh bread and baked goods for the children while also selling to the local community — creating sustainability and opportunity.
