Human traffickers are not always men. In fact many of the young girls/women and boys/men are lured in through a woman who has been chosen to recruit at whatever means necessary. In this case a victim was used. She is now in jail as a result of just doing what her pimp forced her to do. This is a sad but often ending for many victims of human trafficking who are in jail and they too were victims...

For victims of human trafficking there is no Christmas
Sentenced to a ravaged childhood with a lifetime of broken hopes and dreams victims of human trafficking don't know what it is to set up a tree, what it feels like to get gifts under a tree, or even the joy it is to be in a loving and joy filled environment. While we take this time to celebrate Christmas we often don't think what is happening on the other end of our Christmas celebrations. This year please take the time to pray for those who are still in the life. The ones that have been rescued. Everyone involved in this fight. Get involved with a local safe house or non profit organization that is helping victims/survivors of human trafficking and bless them with things on their list of needs. You can also help by purchasing items that human trafficked survivors are hand making. Here is a list of some great organizations that are doing great things. A great way to purchase fair trade items ;)

Parents if you or your child feel that someone is facebook stalking you or friend requesting you and your friends to get you to approve them. Dont approve anyone you do not know!

Don't approve anyone you do not know!!!! Start going to tagging securities and screening who can tag you or your child. Technology is the perfect hotspot to s*x trafficking. Know your social media security settings and be aware of who is friend requesting or added in your child's social media.
