Say cheese! 😄🧡 Our little pumpkins showed up on Day 2 of Spirit Week in their cutest, coolest, and most fabulous outfits for Picture Day! ✨

The Fall Pumpkin Patch made the perfect backdrop for big smiles, silly faces, sweet moments, and lots of fall fun! 🍂🎃🍁

Our kids definitely understood the assignment: LOOK CUTE. HAVE FUN. MAKE MEMORIES! 📸🥰

Yesterday was the first day of Spirit Week and it was Pajamas Day at UM Linda Ray Intervention Center, and our little friends were ready to bring the cozy vibes! 🥰💤

From the cutest PJs to the biggest smiles, our kids had SO much fun celebrating Spirit Week! 🎉👚🧸

Who says pajamas are just for bedtime?! 😴😉 They were the perfect outfit for a day full of fun, laughter, and school spirit! 💕✨

🌱 What is Reflective Parenting?

Parenting isn’t about having the perfect response every time. It’s about learning to pause, reflect, and become curious about what’s happening beneath the behavior.

Reflective Parenting encourages us to look beyond “What is my child doing?” and ask, “What might my child be feeling, thinking, or trying to communicate?”

💛 Building connection through reflection means:

• Putting yourself in your child’s shoes
• Becoming aware of the behaviors you model
• Looking beyond the behavior to understand the underlying need
• Tuning into what your child may be trying to communicate through their actions
• Reflecting on the compassion, patience, and understanding you bring to your parenting

When we respond with curiosity instead of simply reacting, we create opportunities for our children to feel seen, understood, and safe.

And that connection is at the heart of a strong, secure parent-child relationship. 🤍
