IMPORTANT UPDATE FROM THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF TREASURY'S FINANCIAL CRIMES ENFORCEMENT NETWORK (FINCEN)

We have recently been informed about new legislation requiring a filing for all small businesses.

The U.S. Department of Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network is requiring businesses to file their Beneficial Ownership Information. This compliance is mandatory and if a business does not file, it could lead to fines of $500 per day. Help us spread the word!
Businesses that started operation 1/1/24: Deadline to file 3/31/24
Businesses that started prior to 1/1/24: Deadline to file 12/31/24
Fines up to $500 per day if a business fails to file

Many companies are required to report information to FinCEN about the individuals who ultimately own or control them. FinCEN began accepting reports on January 1, 2024. Learn more about reporting deadlines.
