Twenty-one years ago, these two boys graduated from the NICU after a journey filled with fear, hope, prayers, and countless moments of uncertainty.

Today, they’re incredible young men.

For their mom, that journey is something she’ll never forget.

As she shared with us:

“I never could have imagined everything life had in store for us, but I knew one thing from the very beginning: I would love them and fight for them with everything I had.”

Her story is a beautiful reminder that while NICU stays eventually come to an end, the love, resilience, and strength they inspire last a lifetime.

This September, Team Hero Twins is dancing to celebrate not only where their journey began, but everything they’ve accomplished since.

☀️ Welcome to the dance floor, Team Feli! ☀️

We’re so excited to welcome Team Feli to Dancing with the Grads!

Felicity spent 81 days in the NICU, and throughout every challenge, she showed the resilience that continues to inspire everyone around her today.

Her family lovingly calls her their Sunshine Girl because that’s exactly who she is… happy, social, full of joy, and always bringing light to the people around her.

But Team Feli’s story is about more than one little girl.

Felicity’s NICU journey, along with her sister’s, became the inspiration behind NICU Alumni.

It opened our founder, Andrea’s eyes, to the reality that support shouldn’t end when families leave the hospital—and planted the seed for the community that now walks alongside thousands of NICU families.

Today, Team Feli is dancing to celebrate just how far she’s come and to help ensure more families have the resources, connection, and support they deserve after discharge.

✨ Meet Team Daniel: CDH Warrior 🧡

Please help us welcome Team Daniel to the dance floor!

At just 20 weeks gestation, Daniel was diagnosed with a condition known as Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH). His family suddenly found themselves preparing for a journey no parent ever expects.

When mom’s water broke at 30 weeks, she spent weeks in the hospital waiting, hoping, and getting ready for the care Daniel would need after birth.

Today, Team Daniel is dancing for something bigger than themselves.

They’re raising awareness about the NICU journey, celebrating every milestone along the way, and reminding families that life after the NICU comes with new challenges, but they don’t have to face them alone.

“The journey doesn’t end when our little warriors graduate. Continue to celebrate every milestone they accomplish, and give yourself grace.”

We’re so honored to have Team Daniel as part of Dancing with the Grads and can’t wait to celebrate alongside them this September 🧡
