Thank you to all who attended today’s commemoration event of the Khojaly Genocide. Special thanks to the president, Hami Usta, for attending and displaying his support. Also a special thanks to the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey, Feyza Barutçu Altug as well as the Political Officer of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the United States, Ilgar Gurbanov for also being in attendance. We hope that those who came out today with no prior knowledge of our country could walk away with valuable information regarding the atrocities that took place in Khojaly and to raise awareness of acts of injustice. Moreover, we’re glad to reside in a university that possesses open-minded individuals that come from all walks of life that have the desire to learn about other cultures. Thanks again to those who attended and long live Azerbaijan 🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿
