Every difficult task that comes across your path; every one that you would rather not do, that will take the most effort, cause the most pain, and be the greatest struggle brings a blessing with it. And refusing to do it regardless of the personal cost is to miss the blessing.

Every difficult stretch of road on which you see the Master's footprints and along which He calls you to follow Him leads unquestionably to blessings. And they are blessings you will never receive unless you travel the steep and thorny path.

Every battlefield you encounter, where you are required to draw your sword and fight the enemy, has the possibility of victory that will prove to be a rich blessing in your life. And every heavy burden you are called upon to lift hides within itself a miraculous secret of strength. 🙌🏻

I’ve never seen a flower straining to grow taller or shopping for different petals to look like its neighbor. I’ve never seen a bird scratching its head wondering where it would get worms to feed its babies. ⁠⠀

I’ve never seen a tree shrink back afraid of a storm or a cloud hide from the rain. And I’ve never seen the sun blush and try to stop shining. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
The truth is, we don’t have to worry, strive, hustle or struggle through each day because in Christ we have all we need. He is our Maker, our Sustainer, and our Provider. ⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Let’s trade our worry for a song of praise, our striving for resting, our hustling for trusting Jesus, and our struggling for his victory today. ⁠⠀

A worthy repost.

The following is the philosophy of Charles Schulz, the creator of the 'Peanuts' comic strip.

You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just ponder on them. Just read it straight through, and you'll get the point.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.

2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.

3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America pageant.

4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.

5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.

6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday.

These are no second-rate achievers.

They are the best in their fields.

But the applause dies.

Awards tarnish ...

Achievements are forgotten.

Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.

2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.

3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.

4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.

The lesson:

The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money ... or the most awards. They simply are the ones who care the most.
