Never been to Tallahassee? This is your chance to experience advocacy firsthand, learn how policy decisions are made, and bring your voice directly to the Capitol alongside fellow community members.

Catalyst to the Capital is open to adults 18 and older who have never visited Tallahassee.
The trip takes place March 30–April 1, 2027, and applications close October 16. Spots are limited, so make sure to apply before next week’s deadline!

Catalyst Miami is partnering with Community Justice Project, Inc. (CJP) to expand our direct services and bring housing justice support to our community.

CJP is hiring a Staff Attorney, Eviction Defense to join its eviction defense litigation team in Miami. This role will support tenants and mobile home residents facing eviction while working alongside community organizations to advance housing stability and address unmet civil legal needs.

⚖️ Full-time | Hybrid | Miami, FL
📅 Application deadline: September 30, 2026

The position requires a J.D. and 1–3 years of experience. Experience in housing law is preferred, and fluency in Spanish and/or Haitian Creole is a plus.

Miami Homes For All, YWCA South Florida, and over 10 community organizations are partnering to present two open community sessions to help residents better understand Miami-Dade County’s property tax system and Amendment 3’s proposed policy changes.
