We’re excited to see the launch of our Small-Scale Affordable Development Alliance (SSADA) featured in the Miami Herald!
This initiative has been years in the making and represents a major step toward creating more affordable housing opportunities through community-focused development that works for Miami.
🔑🌴 SSADA is about creating pathways for longtime residents, nonprofits, local landowners, and mission-aligned emerging developers to participate in Miami’s growth instead of being displaced by it.
A special congratulations to Lynda Harris on the progress of Casa de Lynda. ✨ We’ve had the privilege of working alongside Lynda for about two and a half years as she has navigated the affordable housing development process, and we’re proud of how far she has come on her journey as a developer. Casa de Lynda, a planned 20-unit affordable housing development for seniors, is exactly the kind of community-rooted project this initiative was created to support. We look forward to seeing it come to life and to supporting Lynda as she develops even more affordable homes in the years ahead.
🔌 Through SSADA, local property owners and emerging developers can access technical assistance, workshops, and development services that help navigate every step of the process - from zoning and financing to construction.
Thank you to Catherine Odom and the Miami Herald for highlighting this important work and helping us share the vision behind expanding affordable housing opportunities across Miami-Dade County.
