Midwest Emergency Photography – 40th Birthday Road Trip Outreach
As I begin planning the schedule for my upcoming 40th birthday road trip, I’m hoping to spend part of this milestone doing what has always grounded me: connecting with the first responder community and documenting the incredible work you do.
During this trip, I’m looking to visit departments and agencies of all types — law enforcement, fire, EMS, emergency management, dispatch centers, and any public safety organization willing to open their doors.
I would be honored to spend a few hours with your team to:
• Observe and hang out with your shift or crew
• Participate in a ride‑along, ride‑up, or sit‑along (per your department’s policies and approval)
• Capture apparatus, equipment, patrol units, and station/department shots
• Photograph shift crews, training evolutions, drills, or scenario‑based exercises
• Highlight the professionalism, readiness, and pride your agency brings to your community every day
My mission has always been the same:
To honor first responders through powerful, respectful, and authentic imagery that reflects the heart, grit, and dedication behind the badge, the turnout gear, the uniform, and the headset.
If your agency would be open to a visit during my route, I’d love to add you to the schedule. Even if you don’t have anything planned that week, I’m more than happy to stop by for station photos, crew portraits, or simply to spend time with the people who make this job feel like family.
