The Miami Memorial Library’s Music & Movement class traded songs for shovels (well, almost!) today as part of the 2026 Summer Reading theme, “Unearth A Story.” They took a trip to Globe’s very own archaeological site, Besh Ba Gowah, to learn all about the ancient people who once called this place home.

What a fantastic way to bring summer reading adventure to life! 📚✨

🦐 They’re ALIVE! Our Triassic Triops hatched overnight as part of our Summer Reading 2026 program, “Unearth a Story”! These ancient little critters have been around since before the time of dinosaurs and now they’re swimming at Miami Memorial Library! 🦕
