To GOD be the Glory... I was HONORED twice in one week for the outstanding work I do in the community. On Tuesday, April 14, 2026 I received the SISTERHOOD COMMUNITY HERO AWARD from Ms. Desiree Testimony Robinson & Ms. Shameka Pierce of The Sisterhood Wellness Circle. And on today Saturday, April 18, 2026 I received the 2026 COMMUNITY QUEENS AWARD from Ms. Shamele Jenkins & The Nubian Sistahood. And a Certificate from Congresswoman Fredericka S. Wilson. Sister Shamele and a friend came to my job one day and gave me the letter saying "WE HAVE BEEN WATCHING YOU".. I was speechless and shed tears because unfortunately my daughter Shakevia Nyteria Campbell passed away 12 years ago from Sickle Cell Anemia Complications and I had decided to turn my PAIN INTO PURPOSE. Shakevia's Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation Inc. was established in April 2021. Thanks to Shakevia's Best Friend Nefertiria Lawrence The Bizness Plug & Co. who filed for our 501c3 Non-Profit Organization paperwork. Our mission is to Raise Awareness and Promote the Prevention of Sickle Cell Anemia Disease. My family & I are dedicated to this mission. We try to teach as many people as we can about this DEADLY DISEASE. So I THANK BOTH ORGANIZATIONS for seeing me for the work that I do in the community. If you call us and we are available, we are there like the fair. Let your work speak for you.
