Today, we're proud to announce that we are officially building towards VetTrackEDU — a platform designed to bridge the gap between veterinary classrooms and real clinical experience.

Across the U.S., veterinary clinics are facing a growing workforce shortage, while students struggle to gain the hands-on hours they need. VetTrackEDU is our solution to connect schools, students, and clinics into one seamless workforce pipeline.

Even more exciting — we’ve begun assembling a powerful Advisory Board of leaders across veterinary medicine, education, and workforce development to help guide this mission.
This is more than a platform.
It’s infrastructure for the future of the veterinary workforce.
We’re just getting started.

What an incredible experience speaking at the Junior Vets “Life of Pets” program at Saint Thomas University hosted by Dr. Stephanie jones of Pet's Help The Heart Heal nonprofit.
Students ages 8–18 were immersed in a real-world look at veterinary medicine, rotating through hands-on learning stations every 30 minutes.

They practiced suturing, bandaging, physical exams, and surgical prep, while also getting the opportunity to interact with horses and observe wildlife animals up close.

We were honored to close out the experience by sharing our founder's Alexandre Contreras journey from veterinary technician to Entrepreneur and the story behind creating . As someone who has spent years in veterinary medicine, he wanted the students to understand that innovation and entrepreneurship also have a place in our field. Sometimes the best ideas come directly from the challenges we experience in practice every day.

Thank you to everyone who made this event possible and for investing in the next generation of veterinary professionals, leaders, and innovators. The future of veterinary medicine is bright.

PetTrio Charities® is proud to launch the Paws + Youth Wellness Tour™ with a special community event December 6th 2025: the Fill The Bowl Kickoff at Homestead Senior High School’s Veterinary Assistant Program. This initiative brings students, families, and local pet owners together for a day centered on compassion, service, and supporting pets in need.

Feeding Pets, Supporting Families
Thanks to the incredible generosity of CUDDLY, we are distributing over 1,000 pounds of free dog and cat food from their very own pet food brand. This donation will help local families ensure their pets stay fed, healthy, and loved—especially during times when resources are tight.

Community Partners Making It Possible
This event wouldn’t be possible without the collaboration of:

CUDDLY – for their amazing donation of high-quality pet food

CARE (Companions and Animals for Reform and Equity) – for supporting community access and equity in animal welfare

Maddie’s Fund – for empowering programs that uplift pets and the people who care for them

Miami-Dade County Public Schools – for opening the doors of Homestead Senior High and supporting the next generation of veterinary assistants

Empowering Students Through Service
The Homestead Senior High Veterinary Assistant students play a vital role in this event—learning hands-on skills, engaging with community members, and becoming advocates for animal wellness.

The Paws + Youth Wellness Tour is designed to train, inspire, and equip students as they rotate through real-world roles in the animal care field
