Are we aware of the digital footprint we leave when using technology?

This was the question we asked ourselves, along with the Wealth Inequality Initiative by Julius Baer Foundation, when we considered the challenges young people face as they begin their adult lives and seek their first job.

That's why we decided to launch the "Tu Huella Digital" initiative, a project that brought together young people from Mexico to work alongside international experts and create an impactful creative campaign that raises awareness about this issue and the importance of protecting the footprint we leave on the internet when using electronic devices.

Virtual coffee chat with EY GDS!

We brought together EY GDS Argentina volunteers with young people participating in Forge Foundation programs, so they could share their experiences, interests, and offer advice to help guide them toward their future careers.

Thanks to the partnership with Fundación Ebro (Ebro Foods Group) and the collaboration with the General Education Council of the Province of Entre Ríos, Argentina, Fundación Forge trained 300 teachers through the “Tu Pasión Inspira” (Your Passion Inspires) program. This program provides tools and content to support young people in their transition to adult life.

It also trains teachers so that each one, from their own subject area, can become a positive influence in their students’ decision-making as they build their vocational and career paths.

To date, these teachers have already enabled more than 3,300 students to use “Trip”, an interactive video game developed by Forge.

These successful collaborations make it possible to effectively and scalably address key challenges in education and youth employment—major issues throughout Latin America.

Forge Foundation presents its regional initiative "Se ve tu CV" (Your CV is seen), in which dozens of HR professionals from all the countries where it operates are reviewing the CVs of young people seeking their first job and providing them with valuable feedback for improvement.

A few months ago, the Forge youth took a tour to the Zurich Insurance offices, which gave them a firsthand look at the work environment and the company's various areas.

It was an incredibly enriching and learning-filled afternoon, where Laura Quintero Salgado (VP of Customer Office) welcomed the Forge youth students and shared her inspiring vision. It was also an opportunity for the students to participate in a course taught by Fasecolda - Colombian Federation of Insurers, where they learned about the importance of the insurance sector.

Finally, they had the opportunity to hear the testimony of Johanna Ruiz Robles, who has been with the company for nine years and has experienced tremendous growth there.
