While many other charitable organizations suspended operations amidst Covid-19, the Miami Rescue Mission has remarkably stayed open in its unrelenting effort to uplift the Miami Community. As soon as the pandemic began, the Miami Rescue Mission established social distancing in its cafeteria, education center, and residential areas, required staff and residents to wear masks, required cleaning crews to operate constantly, and conducted daily Covid-19 testing. The Miami Rescue Mission also serves outdoor meals and provides portable restrooms and shower trucks for everyone in need.

As Thanksgiving is approaching, the Miami Rescue Mission NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT more than ever to continue providing such essential aid to the Miami Community in these unprecedented times. The Miami Rescue Mission is a life changing homeless shelter in Miami that provides food, shelter, clothes, toiletries, showers, haircuts, medical care, counseling, substance abuse treatment, tutoring, job training, employment, and even access to a Miami Dade College education! When most organizations closed their doors during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Miami Rescue Mission remained opened by mandating masks, daily testing, and social distancing to serve as a beacon of hope. This year is my family's 12th annual Thanksgiving campaign for the Miami Rescue Mission, and we implore you to support such an important cause at www.caringplace.org/elegant and spread awareness to help an amazing organization combating homelessness and uplifting the Miami community during these unprecedented times.
