Where we are headed....

By the end of 2026, our goal is 20,000 women enrolled across 30 developing nations. 5,000 earning consistent income. $1.5 million in collective annual household income generated.

By year 3, we want to be on the international platforms where women's economic empowerment strategy actually gets shaped. Not because a speaking slot changes the work, but because the work deserves that stage.

We started this in November 2024 with zero funding, an idea, and a scarcity of proof. Today we have 10,000 women in our community, 64 foundational courses, and a working marketplace.

The next twelve months are the ones that turn the model from working to undeniable.

Come with us.

Some of the women in our program had never earned their own money before this year.

She Thrives gives women in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and the Philippines free business and virtual assistant training, then helps them find real, paying work.

No fees. Ever.

Follow along. You're about to meet some remarkable women. πŸ’œ

Everyone in the nonprofit world talks about scale. Go big. Impact millions.

We have learned that small is the strategy.

A woman earning $25 a month might not sound revolutionary. But for a family in a developing country, that is food on the table. That is a child staying in school. That is dignity in a household where none existed before.

We are not building toward big wins someday. We are stacking small wins that change everything right now.

You do not need massive numbers to have massive impact. Small, consistent gains create lasting change.

This is one of the reframes we think the whole sector needs. If your program is chasing scale at the cost of the depth of the impact per woman, you are chasing the wrong number.

This is the story we tell when someone asks what She Thrives is really about.

There is a woman named Ritchell in the Philippines. She came to us looking for a way to earn income, and we helped her land a job as a virtual assistant.

Then a typhoon hit her area. Her roof was destroyed.

Here is what happened next. Without anyone asking them to, the women in our community came together and raised money to buy her a new roof. Women from Nigeria, from Ghana, from Kenya, from across the world. Women who had only ever known Ritchell through a Facebook group and a shared training platform.

That moment showed us what we are really building. Yes, we teach skills. Yes, we help women get jobs. But underneath all of that is a community of women who show up for each other.

Ritchell did not just gain income. She gained a global network of sisters who had her back when everything fell apart.

That impact does not fit on a spreadsheet. But it is the reason this work matters.

For the ones who want the deeper story.

Every week on Facebook, we share the highlights: the wins, the model, the invitations to be part of what we are building.

On our Substack, we go deeper. We write about the frameworks we use internally, the numbers behind our impact, the honest lessons from building a social enterprise without outside funding, and the sector-wide reframes we think need to happen.

If you are a journalist, a funder, a fellow founder, or just someone who wants to think alongside us about how women's economic empowerment actually works, come subscribe.

It is free. It arrives once a week. It is the room where the real conversations happen.

PS: if you missed our Authority Magazine feature earlier this year, that is also worth a read. Sarah went deep on why belief, not access, is the barrier we most underestimate. Link to that one in the comments too.

People ask why our training is free.

Because the women who need this most cannot afford a course fee, a subscription, or a certification. If we charge, we exclude the exact people we exist to serve.

So how is it sustainable? The marketplace.

When a woman completes our training and gets hired through our VA Marketplace, we take a small platform fee. That fee funds the next training cohort. The women fund each other.

It is a self-sustaining model. No hidden costs. No upsells. No paywall on the courses that change lives.

Free forever is a promise, not a marketing line.

People ask why she started She Thrives.

The honest answer is because she has been there. Sarah knows what it feels like to lie awake at night wondering how you are going to provide for yourself, for your family. That kind of struggle stays with you.

And at some point she realized this was not just her story. There are millions of women around the world who are capable, who are smart, who would do anything for their families. They just do not have access to the education or opportunities they need.

So she went all in. She Thrives became the mission.

Every organization has an origin. This is ours. And it is the reason we design everything the way we do.

What it is really like building something from the ground up.

Nobody tells you how many mornings you will wake up and wonder if you are actually doing this or just pretending to. How many hours you will spend on things that do not feel like the mission but somehow are. How many times you will explain what you are building to someone who will not understand it until it works.

She Thrives started with an idea, no funding, and a lot of belief.

The wins are quiet. A woman completes a training module. A course goes live. A donor says yes. An email arrives from a stranger saying thank you for existing.

The setbacks are quieter. A launch that flops. A partnership that falls apart. A month where the numbers do not move the way you hoped.

If you are building something right now, in any form, whether it is a nonprofit or a business or a career pivot or a family, we see you. The invisible work is the real work.

Small, consistent, un-glamorous progress is how everything meaningful gets built. That is true for the women we serve. It is true for us. It is probably true for you.

If you are new here, welcome. If you have been following along, thank you for staying.

She Thrives Global exists for one reason. Women in developing countries are talented, motivated, and ready to work. What they often lack is not skill or drive. It is access. Access to training that fits their real lives. Access to clients who will hire them. Access to a community that believes they can.

We are building all three.

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we will share what we are learning, who we are serving, and how you can be part of this. Sometimes it will be a story. Sometimes a hard truth. Sometimes an invitation.

Today, it is just this: we are glad you are here.

We've seen what happens when a woman earns her own income.

She reinvests in her children's education. She gains a stronger voice in her own household. She makes decisions about her own future.

This isn't us claiming credit for her success β€” it's her work, and her win. We just helped open the door.

When a woman earns, her whole community feels it. That ripple is the entire point.
