Calling ALL Florida Attorneys!

At the Florida Guardian ad Litem Office, we want to provide the most vulnerable children in Florida with an adult from their community who will be a consistent, positive presence in the child's life.

The Florida Guardian ad Litem Office (GAL) and the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL) are partners looking for mentors to be a part of "FAWL in Love with GAL."

Mentoring matters, and studies continually show that mentoring increases success educationally, professionally, and socially. "FAWL in Love with GAL" matches attorneys with older teens in the child welfare system/foster care. Attorneys mentor the teens, providing support, guidance, and positive role modeling as they embark on their journey to independence.

Whether helping a teen plan for their future after high school or filling out a rental agreement, "FAWL in Love with GAL" mentors make a difference, and so can you.
