Continuing on with the ten reasons countdown for GivingTuesday we are now on reason 3!

The median home price in Miami has surged to six hundred and fifty thousand dollars. This is more than ten times the annual income of many essential workers like teachers, firefighters, and nurses. This is forcing them to move further away or live in substandard housing.

Habitat Young Professionals (HYP) seeks to bring together socially conscious young professionals in the Miami area to support the mission of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami: to transform lives and communities by providing low-income families with affordable homeownership opportunities. Through our diverse network of young professionals, we host social and professional events, community outreach, and volunteer activities to support families in need. 🏠
