🇫🇷 🇺🇲 Meet the Board | Bertrand Leroux — From global tech to Miami’s ecosystem

Tech. Gaming. Digital transformation. Cybersecurity.

How do you turn 30 years of global corporate experience into value for the next generation of companies ?

And how do you help businesses navigate technology, AI and international growth ?

This is where Bertrand Leroux, Founder & CEO of Leroux Associates, Former Global CIO Activision Blizzard, French Tech Miami Board Member and President of the CCEF in Florida & Caribbean operates.
His journey into tech started unexpectedly.
A finance graduate from Paris Dauphine, Bertrand was 25 when his boss at SKF asked him to build an IT department from scratch.

He knew little about IT.
So he learned.

His mindset ?
“I may not know how to do it, but I know it can be done.”

That move shaped the next three decades of his career.

He spent 10 years at Disney, first in Europe and then in the U.S., before moving into the gaming industry.

He later became Global CIO of Activision Blizzard, working in an ecosystem behind some of the world’s biggest gaming franchises, including Call of Duty, World of Warcraft and Guitar Hero.

After around 30 years in corporate life, Bertrand decided to change direction.
Today, through his consulting activity (Leroux & Associates), he advises startups, mid-size companies and larger organizations on digital transformation, technology and AI.

One topic is particularly high on his radar : cybersecurity.

After years facing hacking threats in the gaming industry, he considers it a critical priority for companies and startups — even more so as AI accelerates cyber risks.

His international experience also fuels his commitment to the French ecosystem.

As President of the Florida & Caribbean CCE Committee and through French Tech Miami, Bertrand helps companies navigate international expansion and shares his experience with the next generation.

For him, it is also about giving back.

One common thread ?

Connecting decades of tech experience with the transformations companies are facing today.

💡 Want to break the ice with Bertrand ?

Talk Guitar Hero 🎸 — the video game he actually loved playing.

🚀 Back to business. Back to AI. But are you ready for what’s next ?

We announced it 2 weeks ago. Now, September is getting closer.
New projects.
New ambitions.
New challenges.
And probably more AI.

But having access to AI tools is no longer the real issue.
The question is : how do you actually organize work between humans and AI agents ?

On September 10, French Tech Miami is bringing this conversation to Miami with Pascal BORNET, one of the leading voices on AI and automation, followed by more than 2 million people across social media.

📘 He will join us for the launch of his new book and a conversation around The Human-Agent Orchestrator.

How do you lead an AI-driven organization ?
Which tasks should remain human ?
Which ones can be delegated to AI agents ?
And how do you design and scale this new way of working ?

The perfect back-to-business conversation to start the season with the right tools, the right insights and the right connections.

And because it’s back-to-school season… 📚
20 copies of Pascal Bornet’s new book will be gifted by draw at the end of the event during the networking cocktail.

📍 Mana Tech Miami — 21 SE 1st Ave #10, Miami

🇫🇷 🇺🇲 Meet the Board | Sascha Hoffman — Scaling tech and AI across the Atlantic

Tech. AI. Software. Transatlantic business.

How do you successfully scale a tech business in the U.S.?

How do you move from experimenting with AI to transforming an organization ?

And how do you bridge French and American business cultures ?

This is where Sascha Hoffman, French-American tech executive and North America leader at PALO IT, operates.

Born in New York and raised between NY and Paris, Sascha is a true product of 2 cultures.

French and American.

An identity that has shaped both his career and his understanding of how business gets done on both sides of the Atlantic.

Based in Miami, he develops PALO IT’s business across the U.S. and Canada, helping companies transform through AI, custom software development and change management.

His work spans industries including financial services, luxury, retail, beauty and insurance.

His role goes beyond business development.

He helps organizations rethink how they build software, integrate AI into their operations and turn new technologies into concrete business transformation.

Before joining PALO IT, Sascha launched and developed the American operations of a French digital company, expanding its footprint across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Brazil.

Today, he sees a major shift in AI.

The question is no longer whether companies should use it.
It is how they can integrate it at scale efficiently, strategically and across their organizations.

One common thread ?

Connecting technology, business and 2 cultures to accelerate growth across the Atlantic.

An expertise he also brings to the French ecosystem serving as a French Foreign Trade Advisor (Les Conseillers du Commerce extérieur de la France) since 2024 and through French Tech Miami as Vice-President.

💡 Want to break the ice with Sascha ?

Talk soccer ⚽ , he played professionally in Cyprus.

Or jazz 🎷 , a lifelong passion from a family of professional musicians.

🇫🇷🇺🇸 Meet the Board | Corine Busson-Benhammou — Building bridges that matter

Business. Tech. Investment. Economic diplomacy.

How do you successfully enter the U.S. market ?
Who are the right investors, partners and decision-makers ?
And how do you turn connections into real business opportunities ?

This is where Corine Busson-Benhammou, Co-President of French Tech Miami and Founder of CBB & Co, operates.

From Miami, she supports French companies expanding into the U.S. and internationally through economic & tech diplomacy, Public Affairs, strategic partnerships and access to capital.

Her clients range from startups and SMEs to industrial and tech companies, alongside confidential assignments.

Her role goes beyond networking.

She connects companies with the investors, institutions, business leaders and decision-makers who can accelerate their growth.

Her international work also extends to institutional initiatives, including a G20-related program serving the French State.

And there is another mission close to her heart.

Through the Connected Women Foundation (CWF), founded in France and now established in Miami, Corine champions greater visibility and influence for women in tech and leadership.

One common thread ?

Connecting business, capital, diplomacy and people to create opportunities across borders.

An expertise she also brings to her role as Co-President of French Tech Miami.

💡 Want to break the ice with Corine ?

Talk to her about the thousand shades of blue.
Or Maine C***s. 😉
