GFWC Miami Springs Woman's Club Miami Springs Woman's Club was established in 1939. The clubhouse is available for rental. The land for our beautiful clubhouse was generously donated by Mrs.

For more than 87 years, the GFWC Miami Springs Woman's Club has proudly served as the heart of community service in Miami Springs. Founded in 1939, our organization has dedicated itself to improving the lives of others through volunteerism, education, and civic engagement. Long before the clubhouse was built, the Woman's Club was home to our city's first public library, providing books and learnin

g opportunities for a growing community. Lena Pearl Wheeler Curtiss, in memory of her mother, Mrs. Jennie Potter Neff, and Mr. Glenn H. Curtiss' mother, Lua Curtiss Adams. On February 18, 1949, Club President Mrs. John (Lorena) Popham ceremoniously broke ground by turning the first shovel of earth, marking the beginning of the historic building that continues to serve our community today. In 2006, our clubhouse was officially designated a Miami Springs Historic Landmark, preserving its legacy for generations to come. Today, our mission remains as strong as ever. Through scholarships, our Medical Loan Closet, Backpack Program for food-insecure students, Health & Wellness Community Fair, domestic and sexual violence awareness initiatives, environmental projects, and countless volunteer hours, we continue to make a meaningful difference. We are proud of our rich history—but even prouder that our greatest chapters are still being written through service to our community.

We were proud to present the Miami Springs Police Department with the FIRST-EVER Keys to our Club as a heartfelt thank you for their incredible support throughout the years! 🚔💙
From supporting our fundraisers and community events, including the Witches of Westward and our Health & Wellness Fair, to always being present for our club and protecting our beautiful city—we are so grateful for everything they do. 💙

🇺🇸❤️🤍💙 What an incredible way to celebrate Independence Day! ❤️🤍💙🇺🇸
The Miami Springs Woman's Club was proud to participate in the City of Miami Springs 4th of July Parade! From walking alongside our amazing community to decorating bikes, cars, and golf carts in patriotic spirit, it was a day filled with smiles, laughter, and hometown pride.
Thank you to everyone who cheered us on and helped make this annual tradition so special. We are honored to celebrate the freedoms we enjoy while strengthening the spirit of community through service, friendship, and volunteerism.
Happy 4th of July from all of us at the Miami Springs Woman's Club! May we continue to celebrate our nation's independence with gratitude, unity, and pride.
