Our museum at 501 East Drive, Miami Springs will be open Saturday June 20th from noon to 4 pm.
Bring your family and friends for an afternoon of history and memories. Our new exhibit is a touch screen that includes different presentations on the history of Miami Springs, Virginia Gardens and Hialeah.
We also have exhibits on Glenn Curtiss’s Flight Schools in South Florida , a diorama of the historic Pan American Airways Flying Clipper Seaplane Terminal at Dinner Key Diorama (circa 1935)
We have a significant collection of memorabilia collectibles artifacts and ephemera from the myriad airlines that have served Miami over the years.
We have static displays and interactive multimedia exhibits as well.
We have an exhibit about the plight of the flamingo flamboyance flock at the Hialeah Race Track and their nightly visits to Miami Springs in December of 2022.
We have a very comprehensive exhibit on the evolution of the city of Miami Springs with lots of photos and detailed information.
We have a small gift shop and all proceeds from purchases go to the museum fund. The museum is a 501-3C Non Profit organization and any and all donations are tax deductible in the United States.
The museum is accessible by several nearby bus routes. The museum is located within walking distance of several major hotels located on the north side of the airport along NW 36th Street. We're looking forward to seeing you in the future.
Our satellite museum located at the Miami Springs Adult Community Center 101 Apache St is open M-F 8am-4pm.Free admission.
We also have a satellite museum in the lobby of Miami Springs High School and large model vintage aircraft on display at Miami Springs City Hall.
