All interested in joining Troop 49, you can contact Fred Amankwah (Scoutmaster) at 305 965 4363; Beverly Lam Charter Rep at 786 683 1689 or Committee Chair, Cheryl Leon at 786 355 5658. Boy Scouts is for boys age 11 (or have completed 5th grade) to 18. We meet every Wednesday at Miami Lakes Community Center West (Betty Collins ) Room1, from 7:30pm to 9:00pm. We recruit all year around. And we are the oldest Boy Scout Troop in Miami Lakes, celebrating 50 years of scouting and giving back to the Miami Lakes community.

Special shout out to the scouts in T49 who weekly do a flag ceremony to honor the American flag and to those who hiked the Big Toe/Barefoot Mailman.

Flag Day was June 14, so I wanted to share 14 times that Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts have honored Old Glory.
